Angel has over 26 years experience in hospitality and events industries. She led internal and external in-person and hybrid events for Microsoft for 12 years and has served on event teams for various industries, including travel agencies, airlines, hotels, and third-party event management companies. She has gathered a team of over-achieving experts along the way and decided to launch Angel Events to bring their proven successful track record and combined value to more and more clients. She’s decided to launch her own venture, Angel Events to share this brilliant gift with the industry.
In any event, there are hundreds of duties and responsibilities, myriad team members and untold possible conflicts. Angel keeps every tiny detail top-of-mind while balancing a big picture overview. As more face-to-face events resume, health protocols need to be considered in every stage of planning. Efforts to establish best practices and ensure that they are being followed bring a new set of responsibilities to the process, from the earliest stages of venue selection through post-event follow-up. We are here to ensure best practices for the safest execution of your in-person events, such as sanitation, F & B design, delivery and considerations to traffic flow.
We specialize in Venue contract negotiations to ensure your attendees safety and health protocols are included, we create customized pre-event surveys to gauge your attendees comfort levels of attending online and in-person. We create documentation to support the protocols such as communications strategy plan, Duty of Care, Pandemic Code of Conduct and Health Security plan.

JERRY GREEN

Jerry was born and raised in San Francisco and grew up in the age of personal computing. That gave him a passion for not only technology but for what technology can help us do.
Perhaps because of his childhood proximity to Silicon Valley, he’s been equally at home working with startups and global technology companies. He also spent time in Los Angeles, working with a large Corporate Communication company, and his experience has produced that rare quality of understanding the tech and being able to communicate with everyone.
He takes a holistic approach to solve problems for his clients, balancing both quantitative and qualitative analysis, with a keen eye for identifying and solving real-world business challenges.
He can be a start-to-finish program manager or rappel down into the fray when the going gets rough and somebody needs to perform triage.
His work with Angel and her team has created strong, efficient business relationships that know how to listen to their clients, act in their clients’ best interest, and make it all look easy.
RENÉ DE FREITAS
René has over 16 years’ experience in the event industry, but her love for the drama, the challenges and the perfect execution of events started way before then when she was living in her native South Africa. Prior to moving to the US, she worked in the Middle East and South Africa for a well-known car manufacturer in areas of Sales Planning, Special Projects and Corporate Planning. She now calls the US home and has found her passion in events. She has grown her knowledge of the event industry through working in the event trenches and honing her skills by developing and writing process documents for various Tier 1 Events.
René is an experienced manager in planning, development, and executing at scale business programs and managing multiple areas within events. She is recognized for exceptional process management, deep analytical expertise and execution qualities that drive results across multiple groups and domains. Detail orientated and problem solver, able to analyze business scenarios and opportunities and translate them into actions in improving management process, policies, and plans. Strong communications skills in engaging different audiences, including executives, and always focused on the customers’ success.
ANNA LAURIS BOYNTON

Being a communication coach is the culmination of my lifelong experience as an observer of humans in front of audiences. I was born into a family of professional actors, directors, and educators and spent my childhood and young adulthood watching people as they honed their crafts and communicated with each other on and off stage as actors, directors, artists, and teachers. Once I add my own professional career as a theatrical performer, educator and researcher, I have earned well over Malcolm Gladwell’s 10,000 hours.I use this theatrical background as a starting point, and since 2003 have translated basic acting skills and communications modalities for the worlds of technology and business. I have an MFA in Theatre Arts, a BFA in Theatre Arts and a minor in Sociology.

KEN BOYNTON
Keeper of the Story, Weaver of the Red Thread
I have a Bachelor of Arts in Theatre and have written, directed, acted in, voiced, and performed thousands of stories around the world. I’ve served as Creative Director for executive keynotes and corporate events in the US and Europe. I’ve published a book—Blip—written many keynote presentations, hundreds of commercials, countless videos, numerous sketches, web content, and a bunch of songs and lyrics. I’ve won an Emmy® for lyrics and an IABC award for corporate communication, as well as a couple of Tellys for acting and a Mercury voiceover award...
My Sundance-featured short film played on screens around the world and won numerous awards. I’ve also performed as a stand-up comedian, a singer/guitarist, a corporate presenter, and a commercial and video voiceover talent. As an actor, I’ve worked in film, TV, and lots of games. I apparently have voiced more characters in the original HALO series than any other actor on the planet—IMDb.
All of this experience has helped me to not only recognize great stories but also how to write them, tell them, produce them…and perhaps above all…find them.
